Grown on rocky mineral-rich slopes at 2,624–9,383 ft. Seven years of maturation deliver agave rich in the minerals that define Sierra de Amula's character.
After seven years, jimadors hand-harvest each agave at peak ripeness. Every piña is individually inspected and approved at the distillery patio.
Piñas rest in traditional stone and brick masonry ovens — 24 hours of direct steam cooking followed by 24 hours of resting, extracting juice of unparalleled flavor.
A combination of tahona (traditional stone wheel) and roller mills achieves the balanced body and characteristic smoothness that defines Tequila Mandala.
Juices go to wooden or stainless-steel tanks. A secret percentage of agave fiber is added. Open-air natural fermentation preserves the brand's signature character.
Small-batch distillation in copper and stainless-steel stills under the Master Distiller's direction. Each batch retains only the heart — the characteristic smooth flavor.
Two woods.
One revelation.
Our Extra Añejo rests in French white oak Cabernet and Cognac barrels for a minimum of three years. Deep amber color with layers of raisins, caramel, vanilla, and nuts.
