BenRiach

BenRiach is a Speyside distillery renowned for its creative spirit, diverse cask maturation, and a richly layered range of single malt Scotch whiskies. Founded in 1898 by John Duff, BenRiach quietly distilled its character through the decades, even surviving long periods of dormancy. Its revival began in the early 2000s, when a group of independent whisky lovers saw potential in the forgotten stocks hidden in its warehouses and breathed new life into the distillery.

What sets BenRiach apart is its commitment to variety and innovation. Unusually for a Speyside distillery, BenRiach produces both peated and unpeated malts, exploring the full spectrum of flavor—from orchard fruit and honey to smoke and spice. It is also one of the few distilleries in Scotland to maintain an in-house floor maltings, a nod to its hands-on approach and respect for tradition.
