Varietal Content 47% Merlot, 36% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot Cooperage 100% French Oak Château-Style Barrels (60 Gallons) Barrel Aging: 12 Months Age of Barrels: 35% new, 65% second vintage. In one of the coolest growing seasons in memory, we benefited greatly in 2011 from our 35 years of experience farming Bordeaux varietals. To counteract uneven vine growth due to unusual spring weather, we did meticulous green thinning. We also gently opened up the canopy to expose the fruit, were judicious in our picking schedule, and sorted meticulously both in the vineyards and winery. The majority of our Merlot came in before the October rains, and due to our quality adjustments the remainder of our fruit fared well until it was harvested. Warm up-valley locations like Oakville, Rutherford, St, Helena and Calistoga were particularly successful, and overall the resulting wines are pure and elegant.

RETURNS - Under California law, it is illegal to return wines once sold, except for defective wines, which may be returned for credit or replacement within seven days of purchase. All returned wines must be approved.

AGED/OLDER WINES - We do our best to ensure proper temperature-controlled storage. However, we cannot be responsible for wines older than five years from the current vintage.

 

Refunds for returned products will be issued by SoCalws.com, contingent upon the returned item(s) being received in an undamaged state. All original shipping fees are explicitly non-refundable.
A return processing fee of $15.00 per box will be assessed. Furthermore, a restocking fee, not exceeding 10% of the item's value, may be applied at the sole discretion of SoCalws.com.
Engraved orders are considered final sale and are therefore ineligible for refunds upon return.
Customers bear full responsibility for items damaged after delivery attempts if they are unavailable to sign for the package, or if damage occurs during the return transit to our facility under such circumstances.
